Stan was my cousin and I was blessed to know him. He was a kind and caring man. We grew close while I cared for his mom. I know family meant the world to him. I hope they find peace in the beautiful memories and life they had with him.

I worked with Stan for many years at Radiation and then Harris. We worked in a small test area called Navy World and Stan worked for Bob Loftus most of that time. He was exactly as his obituary describes him. He was a strong family man. A gentle man with a quiet sense of humor. He was an excellent worker who never sought out praise but deserved it. He was willing to do anything and was very intelligent and helpful. I often wondered if he stayed in the area after retirement and hoped I would run into him but never did. One of the funniest stories I remember about him was for a long time he had no hot water in the bathroom sink. He didn't think too much about it until Tracy came home all excited telling her mom and dad that at her girlfriend's house they had hot and cold water in their sink like it was a huge luxury and a phenomena. I laughed so hard at him telling me and he looked so guilty for postponing the repair. I extend my deepest sympathy to Arleen, Tracy and family. I was happy to call him a friend. Roz Thrash

Our condolences to the family of Stanley. My Dad Paul Sr., my Wife and my self Paul Jr. had the pleasure of working with Stan at Harris for many years, My wife and I loved the Blue Ridge and Stan and I would often talk about our trips to the mountains. I still have a pamphlet that Arleen made for us to use when we took the long back roads to and from the mountains, it has all the gas stations and Mc Donald's, Burger king and places of interest. Stan was a true friend to everyone. We are blessed to have known him.
