Obituary of Sandra Marie Williams
Sandra Marie Williams passed away in her sleep on Christmas morning at her home in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica to Joseph A. Williams and Joan S. Williams.
A loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; Sandy leaves behind her daughter Tamika Linton. Mother Joan Williams. Brothers, Orett and Michael Williams. Nieces, Michelle and Alexandra. Nephews, Daniel and Nicholas. And innumerable friends she considered family.
Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved father Joseph Williams.
Sandy held many jobs in her lifetime but the one career she enjoyed the most was as a nurse, caring for people at the end of their life. It brought her tremendous joy to comfort her patients and their families during those difficult times.
Sandy was known for her infectious smile, a charismatic personality, and for possessing warmth that drew others to her. She was an avid music lover; those who knew her were well acquainted with her love for all things Bob Marley. Sandy enjoyed Tweety bird collectibles, going on road trips, and spending time with her loved ones. She was christened in the Catholic Church but was later baptized as a Born Again Christian and enjoyed attending church services and bible study classes with her mother, Joan.
A small ceremony for the immediate family only will be held on January 16th in Palm Bay. Sandy’s remains will then be interred with her father at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Sandy will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to know her; her lessons of love, generosity, and selflessness will be remembered by all.
