Mary was one of the sweetest and kind-hearted persons I have crossed path with. She always greeted you with a lovely smile and a warm embrace. I loved singing with her in the choir! She was as kind as she was a talented alto singer. She will be greatly missed by all of us. May she rest in peace in God's glory. Charo Hessen

Going to Miss You Grandma Mary. From the first day we met you took me in like a grandson. Everytime someone would ask about Katrina's Boyfriend and Now Husband you would always say "Oh That's my Grandson". We always laughed together. I'm going to miss the numerous daily phone calls with you, Katrina and myself. We can now watch our Favorite Chicago Series on NBC with you watching over us Rest In Peace Mary. You are now a beautiful Angel looking over all of us. Really Loved spending your final days with you, Katrina & family.

I can’t even express enough how kind this woman was. Such a gentle and sweet soul. I will never forget her and how she helped me out when I was in a tough place as a kid. I later moved to Florida in 91 and how funny that a few years later I would run into her here at the doctors office she worked at. I would talk to her and see her every so often. Last time I saw her was at Walmart and as usual she always so genuinely happy to see me. This woman definitely has a special place in heaven. Such a beautiful hearted and wonderful woman. Rest In Peace Mrs. B and thank you!❤️
