Obituary of Wanda Michalina Majewska
Wanda Michalina "Dziunia" Majewska, of Melbourne, Florida, passed peacefully in her home on December 2, 2020.
Wanda was born on August 27, 1954 in Poland to the late Bogdan Leszek Binkowski and Wanda Binkowska.
She immigrated with her beloved husband, Stefan Majewski, of 44 years, and their three daughters to the United States in 1989 to pursue the American Dream.
Wanda worked as a teacher at Our Children's Place in Glastonbury, CT, for more than 13 years until her retirement. She took great care and pride in her job, providing children with love and care beyond their families expectations. She lived in Connecticut for 30 years before moving to Melbourne, Florida to spend time with her daughter Katie Jarrett, and her husband Clint and grandson Grayson.
She enjoyed going to the beach, keeping up with current news events around the world, spending time outdoors, traveling, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her two grandchildren.
Wanda was a courageous, generous, and loving mother who succommed to breast cancer after a 4 year battle with the disease.
Wanda was predeceased by her brother Stefan Binkowski. She is survived by her brother Marian Bogdan Binkowski and sisters, Barbara Kwoka and Maria Wilant and their families who live in Poland. Also, daughters Monika Majewska, her partner John Doyle and their son Vincent, Meg Majewska and her husband Shawn Herrick, and Katie Jarrett, husband Clinton Jarrett and their son Grayson.
