Obituary of Janice A. Stevenson

Our precious mother, Janice A Stevenson, 83 of Melbourne, Florida peacefully passed away November 2, 2020.

Janice was born in Riceville, Iowa on July 20, 1937, joining her family of seven sisters and one brother. Life on her family’s farm was hard work but also filled with lots of love and laughter. The stories told of their many pranks played on one another are memories of love, memories to treasure.

Janice and her children moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1965. Where Janice fell in love with her husband of 28 years, Harvey. They traveled the world, played golf several times each week, great dancers, always volunteering to help many causes. Winters were spent in Highland Beach, Florida and summers in Boone, North Carolina.

Janice is predeceased by both her parents and her son, Donald Poppe.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Poppe, her son LeRoy Poppe, Grandchildren Scott Johnson, Jason Claudio Diaz , Crystal Black, and Four great grandchildren.

Rest In Peace dearest mother, you will be greatly missed every day.
