Obituary of David Mark Pace

On Sunday May 24, 2020 David Mark Pace, Loving father of three sons, passed away at Orlando Regional Medical Center at the age of 56.

David was born on February 4, 1964 in Pontiac, Michigan to Hobart William Pace Sr. and Viola Cork. He came to West Melbourne, Florida when he was a teen. He learned the Trade of Plasterer and opened a business with his brother James, called Pace Brothers Stucco. He was also excellent at Carpentry and Construction. He was pretty good at working on cars and could be seen with his head under the hood or he would be under the vehicle at any given time. He was also an excellent Handyman and could do any job he put his hands to that needed to be done. David had a passion for fishing and he loved going to Sebastian Inlet, a favorite place for him to fish.

He could often be found at the Waffle House where he was a regular for several years and He rarely met a stranger and made many friends there throughout the years. David loved to play pool, and you could find him almost every evening at Slinger’s Sports pub in West Melbourne often taking his son’s dog Whiskey with him where he was well known.

David was preceeded in death by his father, Hobart William Pace Sr. and Sister Rebekah May Corley. Sadly, since David’s death, his Mother Viola May Pace, Sister Elizabeth Ann Powers, and oldest brother, Hobart William Pace Jr. have all passed away as well.

He is survived by his Beloved sons David, Matthew and Jesse Pace, his brother James (Vickie) Pace, Brother Joseph Pace and Sister, Martha (Mark) Lyons, His 101 year old Aunt Freda Velie and several Nieces, nephews and cousins. He was well loved by his family and friends and is greatly missed.

David was an Organ donor and with his Generous gifts was able to help save the lives of four people!

There was no Funeral Service for David who was cremated at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care.

There was a benefit/celebration of life at Slinger’s Sports Pub in West Melbourne on Saturday June 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. The Family plans a Memorial Service for him which a date has not yet Been determined.
