George was a wonderful friend and mentor for my consulting and speaking practice. When Richard and I visited George and Carol five years ago, we had many laughs and shared memories of all the NSA conventions we attended. We also recalled programs we did together and the famous NSA talent shows we sometimes hosted. George insisted on giving me a giant box of his strategic planning books, all of which I had read. I sure enjoyed giving them away to clients in California.
George was invited to consult in Mauritius with their largest company and decided he was finally retired and he would like me to go in his place. I had an amazing time presenting in English while the managers and executives spoke in their native language Creole as they read their materials in French. They were all tri-lingual. Everyone was so welcoming, receptive, and appreciative of all the work we did. I based my materials on concepts that George had taught me.
George will always be in our hearts, a model of joy, compassion, love and generosity. We love you George and all of your family, friends, and communities.
