Obituary of Richard A. Simoni

Richard A. Simoni, 65, of Indialantic , FL, died unexpectedly on October 9th, 2020. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply devastated.

Rick was born on October 20th, 1954 to Henry & Victoria Tomei Simoni in Beaver Falls, PA. Rick grew up in a very special ,close knit ,large Italian family , where they have shared many a tradition and the best of times. He attended Aliquippa High School and was passionate about baseball. Rick went on to Clarion University , where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree.

He has spent the majority of his successful career self employed as a sales, marketing and financial consultant in the auto industry.
This has taken him from PA, WV, TX and FL.

In his travels to WV, he met his wife and soul mate Shirley Simoni , who he has been married to for 36 wonderful years. They were inseparable and enjoyed life to its fullest no matter where they would journey. They found the joy in all things together.

Rick was a husband, father, grandfather , great-grandfather , uncle , cousin and exceptional friend. He deeply loved the people around him and he would let you know it. He lit up the room whenever he walked in one and was the life of the party. His smile, jokes and stories were the best. He enjoyed golfing ,fishing ,playing cards, and spending time with those he loved. He made everyone feel like family.

Rick’s family and friends will miss him beyond measure, there are no words for their loss. Rick was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Victoria Simoni, grandparents Maria Giovani Tomei, paternal grandparents Sam and Lena Simoni.Uncles Cuppy Cappibianco, Pooh Zuccaro, Toad Pratchenko, and a cousin Tim Pratchenko, God Father Albert Scarsellone and Aunt Domenica MiMi Tomei Zuccaro.

Rick is survived by his wife Shirley Simoni, son Justin Simoni, Daughter Pamela Poore (Mark Poore), son Scot Fisher (Sandy Fisher)
Grandchildren Brittany Poore, Brandon Poore and Bryan Poore. Great grandson Cooper Poore , Brother Bob Simoni and niece Angelina Simoni, God Mother Rosalie Piccirilli, Aunts Carol Pratchenko and Muffie Cappibianco. Cousins Fred Pratchenko, Debbie and Doug Ferguson, Dana and Jordan Boyle and William, Ashley and John Campell and Camryn, Diane and John Gagliardi and Rocco, Melissa and Alex Thomson, Linda and Pete Masciantonio, Maria and Joey Cyprowski and Olivia, Francesca and Vinny, Nicole and PJ Masciantonio and Viviana, Felisha and Tony Masciantonio Angela Masciantonio, Dominic Masciantonio, Lara and Bill Zuccaro and Bella and Rocco, Michelle and Mike Fisher and Mara and Ava , Chris Zuccaro. Rick also has many in-laws that will miss him and remember him dearly.

There will be an outside service held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery 5950 US1 Rockledge, FL 32955. If you wish to send flowers, please send to
