Obituary of Dr. Blanca Rivera Foreman

On Friday, September 11th, 2020, Dr. Blanca Rivera Foreman passed away peacefully in Melbourne Florida at the age of 82. While she will certainly be missed by her family and many friends, we are comforted to know she has entered His
Kingdom and is rejoined with her beloved husband, Dolvin.

Dr. Foreman was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on December 2nd, 1937. She travelled extensively throughout the US before settling in Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1970 where she was highly regarded as the principal at Fernandina Beach Elementary School. Dr. Foreman learned her PhD from Nova University, which further enabled her to support her passion, the development and education of the youth in her community. In her role as principal, Dr. Foreman touched and inspired more lives than most of us will ever know.

Dr. Foreman was the youngest of twelve brothers and sisters and is survived by her daughters Mrs. Wilda Cuninghame (Craig), Ms. Charlotte Newman, and Mrs. Lynn Hays (Jeff), her sister Ms. Nelly Reed, and seven grandchildren.
