Obituary of Lt. Col. Patrick C. Russo USAF Ret.

Lt. Col. Patrick C. Russo, USAF Retired, 93, of Melbourne Beach, passed away on September 25, 2020, after a brief illness. 

 

He was born in Rochester, NY in 1927 to Ciro and Josephine Russo.

 

He served proudly in WWII and Korea, and continued his Air Force career until retiring in 1970. 

 

Col. Russo is survived by daughters Robin Shaeffer of Titusville, FL and Christina Russo-Jordan of Port Charlotte, FL, many nieces and nephews and other extended family members. 

 

He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Russo, his parents, Ciro and Josephine Russo, sisters, Raeflyn Russo and Loretta Memmel, brother, Charles Russo and grandsons Tyler Jordan and Clayton Shaeffer. 

 

Col. Russo will be interred in a private military burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 10th at 2:30 p.m.
