Obituary of Irma Rubene Dixon

Irma Dixon was born on November 9, 1929 in Maichony, Guyana South America to Randolph and Mazie Vyphuis.  As a young lady, Irma enjoyed singing which led her to take part in various talent shows and later becoming very active in several church choirs throughout her life.

Irma was very active in The Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Palm Bay, Florida. Irma was also a member of the Democratic Women’s Club of Palm Bay and other social organizations in Palm Bay.

Irma enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home.  She especially loved hosting her Annual Christmas Breakfast.

Irma Dixon passed away on Friday, September 4^th, 2020 in Palm Bay, Florida.

Irma is preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Mazie Vyphuis; her husband, Keith Dixon; her sister, Norie Nelson; brothers, Victor E. and Dodridge Vyphuis.

Left to mourn this great loss are her daughter, Desiree Campbell, sister, Eloise Allen, nieces, Desiree Vyphius, Wendy Vyphius, and Iva Welch; nephews, Reginald (Terry) Vyphuis, Keith Vyphius, and Oswald (Monty) Vyphuis; along with many other relatives and friends.
