Obituary of Henry B. Modeen

Henry B. Modeen, 89, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at West Melbourne Health & Rehabilitation Center in Melbourne.
 
He was born on May 16, 1931 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Carl Modeen and Gladys Hobro Modeen, both of whom preceded him in death.
 
Henry served both the Navy and Airforce and retired from IBM in Kingston, New York.
 
Henry is survived by his son, Henry F. "Hank" (Grazyna) Modeen of Palm Bay, Florida; daughter, Judith Ann (Charles) Weiss of Palm Bay, Florida; son, Vincent P. (Kathleen) Modeen of Palm Bay, Florida son, Michael C. (Maria) Modeen of Kingston, New York; son, Robert J. (Robyn) Modeen of Colorado; sister, Lavisa Laffery of Connecticut; many grandchildren, great- grandchildren,  nephews and nieces.
 
He is preceded in death by his wife, Concetta (Castiglione) Modeen of Palm Bay, Florida; brother, Alfred Modeen of Connecticut; sister, Gladys Fayle of Connecticut; sister, Mary Arsenault of Tennessee; brother, Carl Modeen of South Carolina; brother, Richard Modeen of Connecticut; sister, Dorothy Modeen of Connecticut; sister, Beverly Bernaski of Connecticut.
 
Visitation on Friday, September 11 , 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, follow by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 300 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay at 10:30 a.m., internment as follow at 1:30 p.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
