I talked to him just a couple of weeks ago and we kept in touch frequently. When we spoke two weeks ago, he gave me some help on how to install a pre-hung door. Andrew would give you the shirt off his back and helped me out on several occasions. Over the years we played lots of cards together with Tim Trent and friends. He fixed my garage door springs and door opener as well as helped me dig up my yard and replant our sod and also fixed our washing machine - there wasn’t a whole lot he couldn’t do. But what I will remember most about him was our conversations about our faith and the struggles we shared. Rather than dwell on them, he looked for ways to help others with his talents. I remember picking him up at 4 AM and serving at His Place cold night shelter. He would serve there and as a handyman to help out anyone that needed it. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to know him, share fellowship with him and call him a friend.
