Obituary of Bruce Wayne Roberson

Bruce Wayne Roberson, age 53, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the Consulate Health care of Melbourne located in Melbourne, FL. Bruce was born on September 18, 1966 in Titusville, Florida to Ellen Jane Geary and Richard Wayne Roberson. 

He graduated from high school in 1980 from Cocoa High in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Bruce was a chef and had a great love for cooking. He was an avid fisher, hunter, and gardener. Bruce is remembered for being a devoted son and caretaker of his mother, Ellen. 
 

He has befriended many of the residents of the Consulate Health Care of Melbourne. He will be greatly missed. During his stay at Consulate, Bruce took his love for gardening and started a facility garden that was dedicated to the memory of his mother. 

Bruce is survived by his sisters, Wendy Dunwody and Vicky Massey of Richmond Hill, GA; four nieces and two nephews, and other extended family members. He is predeceased in death by his parents, Richard and Ellen, his Uncle Rentus Miley, and his grandparents.  He will be remembered greatly by his loyal friend, Ray Kotowski. 

The family would like to especially thank Consulate Healthcare of Melbourne and their staff, along with the hospice staff of Vitas Healthcare, for his exceptional care while under their services. 

The family will hold a private  service at a later date.
