Ah, we will definitely miss Tim around Williams Elementary. He was one of my favorite people! When my son was in first grade, he would always wave to Tim and asked me if he could join the Sign Language Club at school so he could communicate with him. I told him the Sign Language Club was only for 4th-6th graders. Well, he was so determined to “chat” with Tim that he asked if he could pretty please join the club… and Ms. Anne let him! It was so cute seeing a little first grader among the big kids, just so he could communicate with his friend, Tim. I always came to school to volunteer or have lunch with my boys, and I loved seeing my son sign with Tim. Tim was always teaching him new signs, and my son was always eager to learn. Our whole family was devastated to hear about Tim’s passing. I wish I could’ve gotten one more hug. And I REALLY wish I would’ve gotten a picture of Tim with my son. I always meant to do that, and now it is too late. The good thing is, we will meet again one day, and he is in a much better place now. Tim, you will truly be missed. I hope you are now enjoying fishing with the best of the best. Kellen sends you a big high five. XOXOX

To my sister Nicola and nieces Kim and Dianna and all the Huebner Family,
I know that Tim will be sadly missed by all. He left his love and kindness in this world to be remembered by all. But God took his son Tim home with him.so Tim will not have to suffer with pain anymore. God made us all a promise to never give us more then we can handle.God knew that Tim could not handle anymore suffering so he brought his son Tim home to heaven with him. Tim will always be here with you in your heart and memories. I pray for you all in this time. But know that Tim is probably up in heaven showing God some secrets of fishing and looking down on all of you holding your spot for when you can all meet again in heaven.
I send my deepest sympathy to all of you. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Tim may you RIP
May God Bless you All,
Sharon Perugini

May the peace of God be with you in your time of sorrow. Take comfort in knowing that Tim walked from the shores of Cocoa Beach to walking beside the Lord Jesus Christ through the final steps of his journey. My heart and prayers go out to all of Tim’s family. I never met Tim but I feel as though I know him from the many times his dad shared stories about him with me. I pray that you all will find comfort, strength and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ, and knowing that many people loved Tim and share your sorrow. God bless you all

I am saddened to hear the news of Tim passing. I have just recently moved to Melbourne, FL from Delaware and was introduced by his former girlfriend. We happen to live in the same apartment complex. Hanging out whenever we could, was a blast. During my short stay in FL, I had to move back to Delaware. Tim was the first to come to see me at my place and give me a hug and wish me luck.
Thanks for the memories Tim!

Tim’s passing will leave a mark on William’s Elementary forever. I always considered Tim, “the gentle giant!” His towering 6’5″ was a gentle shadow and his smiles made us all feel his compassion. The kids loved waving and giving him high-fives! Even though some of our little ones (Pre-K) didn’t quite understand that Mr. Tim was deaf, it never stood in the way of a greeting and them yelling, “Hi, Mr. Tim!” He was a very kind, thoughtful and patient man (with our lack of signing skills). He would always ask how we were doing even if the moment was brief going down the hallways.
Mr. Tim, you will be missed more than you know. I found this poem and I thought of you. Happy fishing! You’ve earned your WINGS!!
Afterglow – Anon
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

I always looked for to seeing Tim’s smile at work. He truly brightened the room. We have spent time together as he helped me assembled many things in my room , He actually did most of the work. When we started playing softball together years ago, we instantly became connected. Since we were close to the same age, we shared showing off our skills and our bodily pains. His friendship has always been treasured. My heart goes out to his family and all the souls he has he has touched.

Tim will be missed by all of the Williams Elementary family. He was such a pleasure to work with and there wasn’t a job he couldn’t do. During this past year, Tim and I communicated frequently about retirement – he was ready to go fishing full time! I am certain he is already doing just that in heaven. My heartfelt condolences to the family. May you have comfort in knowing you have an angel watching over you now.

I will miss Tim a great deal. He always watched out for me making sure I didn’t bump my head while opening doors with my hands full and laughing, although with me not at me, when I did. He was always willing to help and was extremely patient. His infectious smile blessed our halls and will be missed.

It was truly a joy to interact with Tim on a daily basis. He always had a big smile and genuinely cared how you were doing. He also shared a passion for the Gators and would always chomp or plug his nose on Mondays after the games. There was never a job that Tim wouldn’t offer to do to help out the school. He only knew one way to work and that was to deliver his very best! He will always be cherished by our community and a great role model on how to live life to its fullest! I miss you Tim!

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful soul. I had the honor of working with Tim for the past 5 years. His presence was quiet, but made a huge impact on the people who saw him daily. My son was in PreK and he remembers Mr. Tim bringing in chocolate milk for the class everyday. He also loved trying out new signs with Mr. Tim. I will never forget how excited my son was when we found a Valentine shirt with the ASL sign for Love on it. He couldn’t wait to wear it to school for Mr. Tim.
My memory of Tim will forever be seeing him waving to us from the Cocoa Beach boardwalk at Lori Wilson. Every year we enjoyed going to watch the Superboat races and we would always run into Tim there. We would be walking up from the beach after the races and we would see this tall man with a HUGE smile waving to us. That is the Tim I will remember. Love and prayers to his loved ones left behind

Tim was a very special man. I loved meeting him in the halls at Williams Elementary and sharing a few signs. He was always so patient as I tried to remember the signs from the classes I took 20 years ago. Sometimes a quick smile would cross his face as I attempted to sign something…made me wonder what I had accidentally said to him! I will never forget his smile, enthusiasm, work ethic, and zest for life. Happy fishing, Tim. Williams Elementary will be a different place without your smile.

To all the family and friends of the Huebner family, I grew up with you all and while I was closest to Terry, we all had a special bond. “Timmy” as we called him in those days was always fun to be around…always had a big beautiful smile on his face and had a larger than life attitude about everything he did. The love of family, his daughters, fishing, dogs and turtles was evident in all of his posts. I pray comfort for you all during these difficult days and months ahead and that you can seek comfort knowing that he is reunited with Inez and has likely found the best fishing hole in Heaven. Love and Peace to you all.
