Dave, you were there when I lost my first tooth, when I had chicken pox, you taught me to play dungeons and dragons. You helped me get over my fear of the dark, you taught me division and multiplication, you cried and drank with me endlessly when mom passed, you held me when I was scared and you protected me, you always helped me through the hard stuff, and you were always there as a father when I didnt have one. It will be hard for any man to live up to the man you taught me should be in my life, and no man will ever be as wonderful as you. I was blessed to have you for an uncle, and as a father figure to grow up with. There are no words that can express how deeply I will miss you. Rest easy, until we see each other again. Dave, your kind heart and funny character will always remain in my mind and heart. I will miss all the smack you give me during football season but I know you will still be telling me in my ear.
