Obituary of William P. Buckley

William P. Buckley Jr. of Rockledge, FL, formerly of Monroe, CT, passed with his family by his side on March 26, 2014. He was born November 22, 1932 in Norwalk, CT. He served as a Radar Seaman 1st class. He was honorably discharged from the Navy after serving from 1950 until 1954. He was a master electrician, and owner of Buckley Electric, until his retirement in 2002. He retired to Florida with Madelyn to play golf, which he did until March 15, 2014. Bill is survived by his wife, Madelyn; children, William of NY, Robert and his wife Dedra of CO, Kathleen and her husband William Morgan, and Maureen, all of CT; his grandkids, the pride and joys of his life, Mikaela Buckley, Hayley and Rory Morgan, Patrick Whelan and his wife Samantha, Rebecca and Maggie Whelan, and the source of much laughter, great-grandkids, Paul and Penny Whelan. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph Buckley and his family of CT, and Carmen Costanzo and his family of CA; and extended family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his brother, Jack Buckley. Bill was taken from us unexpectedly after a short, but valiant battle with cancer. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Rockledge, 321-632-1350. There will be a memorial service on April 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL.
