Dear Lupita, Rafael, Eddy & Luis;
My deepest sympathy for the lost of your beloved mother and wife. I have such wonderful memories of Maria Elena. Since we all came from Cuba and there was such a small community of Cubans in Philadelphia, we were family, not friends. I remember summer nights sitting outside the apartment in the alley way and her making awesome Daquiries. When our house blew up, she cooked dinner for us. When you all moved to Florida, my family truly missed you all, but Maria Elena and my mom talked regularly on the phone and it help fill that void. May the angels and the Lord hold her and give her eternal rest. Remember that she will be your angel in heaven to help in your daily life struggles. Love, Miriam Perera.
