She had been an active volunteer at Holmes Regional Hospital with her husband Harry for years in addition to being a prayer visitation team member for Calvary Chapel. Mrs. Wenz Irving always delighted in her gardens as well as the precious time she shared with bible studies in her homes along with church attendance. For many years she was prominent in both flower club associations as well as ladies golf associations. She and her first husband Norman traveled the country first researching and photographing plants and then presenting a slide production "Plants of the Bible". In addition to being the recipient of many accolades for her prize winning floral arrangements and this program, she was often featured in news articles as a wonderful hostess at her previous homes in CT. Her greatest joy aside from family was to share “the precious story” of the birth, crucifixion, and resurrection of The Lord. She was a published author of a beautiful book of devotional rhymes sharing the Lord's blessings with everyone she came in contact with.
Memorial services will be private for immediate family only.
