Obituary of Natalie Hansen Lumetta
Natalie Hansen Lumetta, 47, of Palm Bay, FL passed away surrounded by her husband and close family on Saturday, May 20, 2017 after a brief illness.
She was born on December 17, 1969, the oldest child of six, to Richard (deceased) and Susan Calkins. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Vincent Lumetta; two sons, D.J. Hansen and Bryce Elliott, both of Venice, FL; mother, Susan Calkins of Venice; grandmother, Marilyn Calkins of Troy, PA; siblings, Yvonne Calkins of Sarasota, FL, Danielle Polk (Terry) of North Port, FL, Holly Newell (Nathan) of Tallahassee, FL, Tricia Matheson (Andy) of Venice, Ricky Calkins of Venice; mother and father-in-law, Tom and Sheila Lumetta of Venice; sisters-in-law, Ann Brenzel of Naples and Nadine Smith of Venice, brothers-in-law, Jim Lumetta of Venice and Todd Lynn of North Port; 12 nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Natalie grew up in Troy, PA and graduated from Troy High School in 1988 where she was a member of the band and basketball team. After high school, she received her Associates degree from Keystone College. Later she moved to Venice with her family and graduated from the University of South Florida. Natalie worked as an accountant for many years and assisted her family and friends with their tax returns. She enjoyed watching her children play soccer and volunteering in their soccer and school activities. In 2012, she met her husband Vinnie and later joined him in Palm Bay. Natalie will be greatly missed by the many hearts that she touched and all who knew her.
