Obituary of Mary Rose Littier Youlio

On August 21, 2015, Mary Rose Littier Youlio left this life to be with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband Larry M. Youlio. Mary was 97 years old when she began her new journey. She is survived by her son Larry J. Youlio and his wife Joanne of Kingston, NY and her daughter Carol Anne Youlio Peterson and her husband Gene of Merritt Island, FL. Mary was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren whom she adored, Victoria Anne Youlio of Wappingers Falls, NY and Erik Quinn Peterson of Merritt Island, FL. She was the daughter of the late Concetta and Pasquale Littier. Mary was born in Newburgh, NY on September 5, 1917. Her parents and siblings Stephen, Carmen, John and a sister Mary predeceased her. Surviving are her loving brother Joseph Littier of Waldwick, NJ and numerous relatives in NY, NJ, CA and FL. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Florence Littier of Apopka, FL. After many happy years raising their children in Newburgh, NY, Mary and Larry moved to Palm Bay, FL. There, they spent many happy and healthy years celebrating life with family and their many friends. They were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church +óGé¼+ôSeniors on the Move+óGé¼-¥ organization and the Greater Palm Bay Senior Center. Both were active members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palm Bay prior to Mary’s move to Merritt Island where she attended Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Mary was blessed with a long life, a strong faith, a beautiful marriage, a close family, wonderful friends, lots of stories from the past, and an extraordinary culinary talent. She was blessed in her golden years with exceptional care providers including Annette Zeiser, Edna Reid, and Fe and Alan Spears. A Funeral Mass celebrating Mary’s life will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 N. Courtenay Pkwy., Merritt Island, FL 32953 on August 29, 2015 at 11:00 am. Further Funeral Mass and burial will be held in Newburgh, NY at a later date.
