Obituary of Donald Edward Weber

Donald Edward Weber, age 89, of Melbourne, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Frances “Fran” Weber and daughter, Dondi Weber-Homan (Randy) of Killeen, Texas; stepdaughter, Teresa Gianola (Craig) of Cumming, Georgia and two grandsons, Ryan and Dylan Townsend of Houston, Texas. Don grew up and attended schools in Toledo, Ohio.  After graduating, he joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served for 21 years.  After his service, he continued to work for the State of Florida in various positions from which he retired. He was a 56-year Mason, a life member of Wm. R. Singleton Hope-Lebanon Lodge No 7 in Washington DC, and a Scottish Rite Member of Valley of Orlando.  A founding member of the AZAN Shrine Temple in Melbourne, Florida.  He loved the many years he spent being the Director of AZAN Oriental Band…called it the music this side of heaven.  He was a 50 plus year member of the Manatee Cove Golf Course at Patrick Air Force Base where he played golf three times a week with his Buddies with whom he shared many years. There will be no service as per his request.  He will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery with full USAF honors on Tuesday, March 10th at 12:30 p.m. We thank Hospice of St. Francis for their loving care.
