Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of knowing this obviously beloved man. But I am lucky to have known and loved his sweet daughter, Catherine, who spoke of him often and lovingly. My prayers and heart go out to his big, wonderful family..God bless.

Barb and Family,
Such a sad surprise to read of Jims passing. Fran remembers Jim and the other men building the Kirkwood Sportsman’s Club and the fun they had while building it. I believe we were the only ones with Yamaha snowmobiles while you all had ElTigre and Jags. We took quite a teasing for having the only Yamahas but the songs and fun we had are all very good memories. Kirkwood holds good times for many people and Jim was a big part of them. We hope happy memories help you keep him close. We send our deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Becky and Fran Angello

We are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We have many fond memories of our times spent together in Kirkwood. Time has flown by. I remember Jim and Larry singing. “The old town was a drag as I jumped off my Jag”. Not sure if the words are right, but it was a snowmobiling song, words by Larry. The old fire company is just about dissolved, with very few members. Time marches on. May happy memories sustain you at this difficult time.
