Charles “Charlie” Pinkerman
Charles Pinkerman Born in Kansas City February 18, 1937
and passed June 10, 2019 in Melbourne, FL
He was raised in Ft. Lauderdale. Charlie was very athletic and lettered in Basketball and
Football where he attended Fort Lauderdale High (the Flying L’s) and graduated with “The Famous” class of 1955. He played Baseball in college at Florida State University.
He met Marilyn, the love of his life, in 1972 and they married in 1974. Together, they opened
and ran Charlie’s Athletics Co, in Hollywood, FL until relocating to Melbourne, FL in 1989.
In Melbourne, they embraced a career in Real Estate & became the top producing team, The Pinkermans with the motto “Think Pink”, until the onset of Charlie’s dementia in 2003.
Charlie was an avid history buff. He had a love of animals and that was mutual.
Charlie loved watching sports live and on TV, going to the movies,
and enjoyed being near the beach and listening to the waves.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his daughter Barbara Lyn (Kevin Fogg),
he was predeceased by his daughter Dania Marshall and his son Howard Gimbel .
