Obituary of Patricia Lang Jones

Patricia Lang Jones, age 82, passed away on May 4, 2016. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on June 9, 1933. Pat grew up in Dover, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Dover High School in 1950. . Patricia and her family moved from Pennsylvania to Eau Gallie, Florida after her high school graduation. She met her husband, Charles Jones, while working at the BX at Patrick Air Force Base. They were married on August 9, 1953. In Pat+óGé¼Gäós younger years she enjoyed drawing, painting, square dancing and pinochle. She was active in church for many years, teaching children+óGé¼Gäós Sunday School and participating in church activities. Pat and Chuck were members of Eau Gallie Christian Church and later Palm Bay Christian Church. Pat was always very enthusiastic about healthy food and natural medicine. She was always reading about research and new developments in this field. After the children left home, Patricia and Chuck enjoyed traveling to various state parks in their camper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jones, after 60 years of marriage. She is survived by her brother, David Lang, her three children: Richard Jones (wife-Geni-Deck), Robert Jones (wife-Martha), Patty Taylor (husband-Terry); her seven grandchildren (Robert, Adam, Caleb, Candace, April, Amanda and Amy); and fourteen great grandchildren (Kyle, Ethan, Michael, Mason, Christopher, Alexandra, Chase, Joslyn, Rigel, Micah, Eva, Theo, Lily and Rose). A gathering in her memory will be held Saturday, May 21st at 3 p.m. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Rd. SE, Palm Bay, FL 32907. (321) 724-2224.
