Obituary of Robert “Craig” Cain

Robert “Craig” Cain, 66, of Melbourne, FL, passed away early Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Born September 16, 1951, in Fayetteville, NC, Craig was the son of the late Harold “Vincent” Cain and Barbara Ann Owen Cain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Cain. Craig is survived by his wife, Patricia Gormon Cain of Columbia, SC; his daughter, Catie Kale and husband, Christopher of Hickory, NC; brother, Keith Cain and wife, Amy of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Caden and Claire Kale of Hickory, NC; his nephews, Troy Vázquez-Cain and husband, Oscar of New York, NY and Aaron Cain of Melbourne, FL; and his niece, Elizabath Cain of Fayetteville, NC. A service of celebration and remembrance of Craig’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Steve Easterday officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Craig’s life.The family will receive friends following the service.
