Obituary of Rusty Douglas

Rusty Douglas, age 58, died peacefully in his sleep on February 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Robin, who loved him madly; and his two kitties (his boys) Trouble and Huey. He is also survived by two large and ever growing families who were his friends and a great number of friends who were like family. Rusty was known for his willingness to help family, friends and even a stranger in need. He was creative and ingenious. He built, repaired and reinvented, in the course of projects, at home and on the job. He was a skilled craftsman and artistic woodworker. His perfectionism made him his own worst critic. He loved all animals, but most of all his own. His dynamic presence, deep voice and tender heart will live forever in the many lives he so profoundly touched. Although its much to soon we all wish his spirit a joyful ride. In lieu of flowers or a memorial, do a good deed for someone and ask them to pay it forward.No services are planned.
