Obituary of Jacquelyn Helena Marshall

Jacquelyn Helena Marshall, 79, of Melbourne Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by three generations of her family on May 27, 2018. “Jackie” Marshall, daughter of Edgar and Eva Louise McCulley Miller, is survived by her loving husband Frederick of 61 years and four sons and two daughters including Ronald (Barbara) Marshall, Edgar (Katherine) Marshall, Stephen (Angela) Marshall, Kathleen (Robert) Hoeferkamp, Elizabeth Irvin and Robert (Elizabeth) Marshall. She was preceded in death by her son John. Jackie’s family also includes her brother John (Reenie) Miller, and sisters Michelle (Frank) DiNenna, Chris (Kerry) Irving, and Jan (Jack) DeMar. She was preceded in death by her brother Steve Miller. Jackie is also survived by 19 loving grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jackie was born in Winber, Pennsylvania in 1938. After her family moved to the Washington DC area, she married Fred, her high school sweetheart. After marriage, she became a homemaker, raising a large, energetic family. She later embarked on a career as an office manager for a medical group. Jackie and Fred retired to Florida in 1993 where she became an accomplished mah-jongg player, an enthusiastic bowler, and a dependable book club member. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a generous, caring friend. There will be a private family gathering and celebration of Jackie’s life after cremation. Per her wishes, her ashes will be scattered at sea.
