Denny you were the best neighbor/friend that anyone could ever have. It’s rare to have one or the other but you were combination most people never have. We have had some great times, lots of laughs and lots of good food and of course who could forget all those Phase 10 games after dinner!! Denny & Jerry were not known as the true Paul Bunyans of the mountains but boy you tried… and it left for many tall tales and lots of laughter forever.Ex: chainsaw chain on backwards says it all. No words can express how much you will be missed and how empty our lives will be. But you left us with a lifetime of memories. Thanks Bubba, rest in peace. Jerry & Ruth

Uncle Denny was one of the sweetest, and kindest men in the world. When my dad and he would paint the town red you never knew what would happen. My dad was backing down uncle Dennys driveway at the cabin in N.C. with uncle Denny directing him. For some odd reason he forgot to tell my dad that his roll out canapy was out. Yes the tree snagged it and tore it off. So Denny pulled it off and tossed it in the woods. RIP uncle Denny your family is in our thoughts. Xoxo

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Denny’s entire family. It was our pleasure to meet Denny on one of his visits to Colorado. We were saddened to hear about his passing.
