Scott, Jennifer, Christopher and Joshua, You were her everything and she loved you all so much, along with the steady stream of critters you had come through your doors. The teachers and students at Harbor City Elementary were all blessed by her loving, creative presence too. Who else would bring a cow to school, or make sure lots of sunflowers were planted! She was the calm, steady, always on time, worked like a horse, Bill’s right hand for so many wonderful catering years. She made it more fun, even the late nights washing all those dishes, pots and pans at the shop. Last night I made her croissant dinner with the ground beef, marinara and mozzarella cheese, and at the beautiful memorial you put on at the firehouse I recognized her pasta salad with the salad supreme. I can still picture one of my treasured belongings that has since bit the dust. I miss my “foot” stool that she made with a couple of boots attached to a round stool that was upholstered in camouflage, and I know I will always miss our sweet Dawn, but have so many fond memories. You all were such a blessing to her with your constant care and desire to make her final years as beautiful and loving as possible. You are all Heroes!!!!!
