Obituary of Maureen E. Varrato

Maureen Varrato, a resident of Rockledge, FL was delivered to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on February 27, 2018. Born January 29, 1946 to Alfred and Maureen Nordgren in New Britain, CT. She married her soulmate Paul R. Varrato on April 5, 1968. Together they had three children Michael R. Varrato (Adam Tokes) of Albany, NY; Paul E. Varrato (Ronda) of Plainville, CT; and Rebecca Varrato of Rockledge, FL. Maureen was a retired shipping and receiving manager of Keeny Manufactoring in CT. Maureen was the oldest of six children, three brothers Lawrence Nordgren (Kathy) of Bristol, CT; Thomas Nordgren (Mary) of Burlington, CT; Michael Nordgren (Tammy) of Fairfield, CT. Two sisters Barbara Legate of TX, and Claire Miller (Phillip) of Wheelersburg, OH. Maureen had eight grandchildren, Ashley Ducas, Amber Poinatale, Tayler Varrato, Aliza Varrato, Jessica Varrato, Oliva Varrato, Sierra Varrato, Xavier Varrato. Two great grandchildren Noelle Poinatale and Sabin Inman. Maureen was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Maureen Nordgren. Those who knew Maureen, knew she was a warrior. She was fiercely loyal and loving. As much as she gave, she never took. If you were her friend, you were a friend for life. Continue to keep her in remembrance, this beautiful Angel of God.
