Obituary of Arthur H. Bursey
Arthur H. Bursey Jr., 78, passed away on August 14, 2018, in Melbourne, FL. Born and raised in Everett, MA, he spent most of his life in Londonderry, NH, then Alton Bay NH, before retiring to Barefoot Bay, FL, in 2004.
He was known for his charismatic personality, sense of humor, and strong work ethic, which he applied during his life-long career in the restaurant and motel business industries, land development, and real estate. While in Londonderry he was a Mason and an active Bektash Temple Shriner where he served as a Shrine Clown.
Arthur is survived by his daughter, Robin Bursey; grandsons, Benjamin Fonner (wife, Katherine Fonner) and Samuel Fonner; great grandchildren, Julian Lunderman and Lara Fonner; sister-in-law, Betty Bursey; nieces, Holly Koski, Heather Lopane, and Tara Cooksey. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Fonner; brother, Robert Bursey; sister, Joan Quinn; brother-in-law, Harold Quinn; and parents, Arthur Sr and Doris Bursey.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Lifepoint Church, 1420 Sportsman Lane, Palm Bay, FL 32905. An internment will be announced later at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Saugus MA, where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
