Obituary of Marinda A. Ray

Marinda A. Ray, age 66, went home to eternal rest on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from Palm Bay Community Hospital. Marinda, affectionately called “Peaches” was born in Brunswick, Georgia on February 8, 1952 to Louis Marvin Grant and Katherine Georgette Claybon, both of whom preceded her in death. Marinda’s love for people led her to working in the health care industry as a Medical Records Specialist.  She had a smile that would brighten the room. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 37 years, William Ray, Jr.; daughters, Makeba A. Ray and Martischa A. Ford; four grandchildren, Vincent Ford, Jarvis Ford, Jarius Ford and Jada Barnard; and brother, Gregory Grant. A viewing will be on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, Florida. “Peaches” will forever lovingly live in our hearts.
