Obituary of Claudia Marie Wetherell

Claudia Marie Wetherell, 72, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 20, 1942. She was a resident of Melbourne for over 60 years and was a graduate of Melbourne High School, Class of 1961. Claudia also graduated from BCC and Summa Cum Laude from UCF with degrees in Education, Business and Hospitality. She was dedicated to her family, faith and education. She was passionate about teaching children, as she worked in the Brevard County School District for over 43 years. She was involved in organizing of the Melbourne High School, Class of 1961 Reunion. She was an active and committed member of the Brevard Federated Republican Women’s Club. Claudia is survived by her children and their spouses, Thomas G. Rion (Stacy) and Rhonda M. Rion-Gibson (Paul); and her grandchildren, Kelsy and Chloe Gibson, and Gage and Cassidy Rion. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne (321) 724-2222.Interment will on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Jefferson United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jefferson Hills, PA.
