Obituary of Phillip Jackson Massey

Phillip Jackson Massey, 82, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019. Born in Newport, Arkansas, he moved to the Orlando area in 1978. A US Air Force Korean War veteran, Phil met the love of his life, Shirley Greene, when they both served in England during the 1950’s. They moved to Michigan after leaving the USAF, where Phil was a police officer. Most of Phil’s working years were spent as a salesman for Casio. He sold office equipment in the Southeast United States and Puerto Rico. His successful career with Casio permitted he and Shirley to travel the world. Phil never met a stranger. He loved talking with people, especially if they enjoyed reading or had a dog with them. Phil was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Greene Massey, and his brother Donald Massey. Phil is survived by his brother, Joseph Massey and his wife, Margaret; daughter, Kelley Dundas and her husband, Charles; son, Douglas Massey and his wife, Jenny; son, Kevin Massey; grandchildren Douglas, Christopher, Shannon and Kalen, and great grandson Daxson. The family will have a private Celebration of Life to coincide with a planned reunion in 2020. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Vitas Hospice or a charity of your choice.
