Obituary of Mary Ellen Di Pasqua

Mary Ellen (Sweet) Di Pasqua, 67, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was born on February 6, 1948, in Endicott, New York, to Donald and Mary (Bash) Sweet. A resident of Florida for 35 years, Mary Ellen had a fondness for animals, especially her dogs, Woody, Demi, and Ginseng; and cats, Cuddles, Ginger, and Tim Tam. They precede her in death. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, reading, sewing, and writing. She had an affinity for science fiction, particularly Star Trek. She played the accordion and organ and wrote many pieces of music. Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her father, Donald Sweet; mother, Mary (Bash) Sweet; and brother, Charles Sweet. She is survived by her brother, Frank Ryan; husband of 46 years, Aldo L. Di Pasqua; daughter Kendra Schwitter (Alex Schwitter); son Aldo M. DiPasqua (Kimberly Shields); granddaughter Mia Schwitter and grandson Maxwell Schwitter. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, Florida 32901.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Brevard, Inc., 455 Cheney Highway, Titusville, Florida 32780.
