Thank you so much for your kind letters that I received today. Your Mom and Dad were such kind and thoughtful people. We visited with them, went out with them, had them in our home and celebrated birthdays and their Tuesday night happy hours with Mom and Dad. (Clancy) Their Tuesday night friendship circle was almost legendary. As important as their friends were, I will always remember Roy’s dedication to his glass window ministry……what a blessing he was to his church family. Agnes, shared her first name with my Mom, and was always a favorite visitor when Mom and Dad were ill. Our prayers for your whole family. This has certainly been a rough couple of months for you all.

Compson family,
Having lived in Weedsport my entire life, I certainly knew who your parents were. As a youngster, I entered the store to buy my mother jewelry for her birthday. Your parents were welcoming to even a young girl, probably no older than 10 or 12 yrs old. I decided on a necklace & earrings set. I thought they were the fanciest & prettiest ever! My mother just loved them & cherished them for years. Wonderful, kind towns people….God bless them both & your family.

Dearest Loren and Joyce, Bob and I lift our thoughts and prayers to you and your family after Roy and Agnes’ deaths. They made a huge personal difference in our lives, and as they served sacrificially, faithfully, worshipfully, and compassionately our Lord Jesus at the Presbyterian Church of the Good Shepherd. You, too, demonstrated your deep love and affection as you were here for them so well and tenderly in their time of need. What an inspiration and example you all are to us!
God bless you “real good” as you grieve, and yet celebrate their lives and the legacy they have passed down through their awesome family. Love, Sandy & Bob Hill
