Obituary of Cynthia Santos Huggens

Cynthia Santos Huggens passed away and transcended to the next life on October 29th, 2018. She was born on April 17th, 1963 to Levi and Flaviana Santos in the beautiful island city of Taguig, Philippines. Cindy was a widow to Army veteran, Gene Marcus Huggens, and a warrior for her surviving two sons Derek and David Huggens. Cindy cared for her family as a mother, father, working homemaker, and a resilient inspiration to those who never want to give up against disease. Cynthia was a graduate of New Era University in Manila, Philippines. Cynthia came to the United States in September 8th, 1988 to Burbank, California with her husband and first son, David. After the birth of her second son Derek in 1989, she moved on to raise her two sons in Palm Bay, Florida where her husband came to pass on November 20th, 1991. Cindy’s years were well spent as a firm believer and member of the Church of Christ in Orlando, Florida. Her faith gave her profound strength to fight Tuberculosis, Tracheal Stenosis, Tracheobronchomalacia and many other related respiratory conditions. Cindy’s spirit to push forward gave her the ability and grace to live with such circumstances. Cynthia was an avid cook and gardener who always made sure her visitors were well fed and her flowers were blooming. In her final days, Cynthia Huggens’ will and strength allowed her to attend First Baptist Church of Melbourne on Dairy Rd. in Melbourne, Florida. Her memorial service will be held at this location at 11:00 A.M. on the 26th of November.
