Obituary of William A. Test

William A. Test Jr., age 68, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, in Melbourne, Fla. Born on September 29, 1950, in Hampton, Va., he owned W.A. Test Plumbing & Heating before moving to Melbourne in 1989. An avid surfer in his youth, he also enjoyed sailing in Virginia and Florida, as well as joining his wife on bird-watching outings in the Outer Banks and Florida wildlife refuges. He often painted scenes from his many travels. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and two daughters, Renell and Jennifer. He also is survived by two sisters, Connie Seitz Munn and Pat Cheek. His parents, both deceased, were William A. Test Sr. and Realie Parks Test. His other deceased siblings include Melvin Briggs, Joan Libby and Kenneth Test. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home 2551 N. Armistead Ave. Hampton, Va. The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
