Obituary of Bernetta Ann “Cookie” Patridge

Bernetta Ann “Cookie” Patridge, age 73 of Palm Bay, FL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was born on October 13, 1944, in Washington DC to the late William and Elenia Sayre Cook. Cookie married the love of her life Edward J. Patridge on September 19, 1964, they spent 48 wonderful years together. She is survived by her brother William (Cathy) Cook of Fredericksburg, VA; numerous nieces and nephews. Cookie was predeceased by her husband; brother Charles H. Cook and nephew Charles H. Cook, Jr. She did not have children of her own but she was a loving and generous aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Cookie retired from University of Maryland, University College in College Park, MD. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 5310 Babcock Street, NE Palm Bay. A private burial will take place at a later date at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
