Obituary of Gloria F. Kohl

Gloria F. Kohl, 80, died peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at William Childs Hospice House. Mrs. Kohl moved from Aurora, IL to Brevard County in 2000. She was born in Oak Park, IL. Gloria held many jobs during her life but is best remembered as the owner/operator of the private club, The Irish Club, in Aurora and then subsequently The Knotty Pine in Earlville, IL. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary at American Legion Post 117 and an avid golfer. Gloria attended Joy Lutheran Church in Palm Bay, FL. A loving and devoted mother, her family includes son John See and wife Ramona of Palm Bay, FL, son William See and wife Rosemary of Yorkville, IL, son Neal See of Grass Valley, CA, son James See and his wife Dorilyn of Aurora, IL, and son Philip See of Mendota, IL; grandchildren, Jonathan, Chelsie, Hannah, Selena, James, Haley, Elijah, Elaina, Angela, Philip and Elizabeth; and great grandchildren Alyce, Jaci and Natalee.Services will be held at Joy Lutheran Church of West Palm Bay, 3174 Jupiter Blvd., NE, Palm Bay, FL 32909 on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 1 pm.In lieu of flowers, Gloria has asked that you make a donation to either William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32907, or Joy Lutheran Church, 3174 Jupiter Boulevard, NE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, or American Legion Post 117, 89 Veterans Drive, SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
