Obituary of Frederick “Rick” David Tomeo

Frederick “Rick” D. Tomeo, Jr., age 58, of Melbourne, Florida passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Viera Hospital. Rick was born on August 18, 1960 in Beverly, Massachusetts. Left to mourn his loss is his loving wife, Joanne Tomeo; daughter, Christine “Chrissy” Tomeo of Orlando, FL; son, Shawn Tomeo of Eustis, FL; daughter-in-law, Lacey Tomeo; grandson, Easton Tomeo; mother, Sandra Howard of Merritt Island, FL; step-father, Don Howard; father, Fred Tomeo, Sr. of Brooksville, FL; step-mother, Maureen Tomeo; sister, Lynda Fanning of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother-in-law, Jeff Fanning; brother, James L. Collins III of Hingham, MA; sister, Kathleen Collins-Wilson of Fairhope, AL; brother-in-law, James E. Collins of Madison, CT; aunts and uncles, Dave Tomeo of Tampa, FL, Carol Tomeo; Lonny Salomon of Kittery, ME & Jenson Beach FL; Christine Williams of Warner Robbins, GA; Mary Tomeo of Beverly, MA; Josephine Tomeo of Bedford, MA and Arlene Clinton of Lynn, MA. nieces and nephew; Lisa Ludwig of Port St Lucie, FL; Geoffrey Fanning of Port St. Lucie, FL; Jenna Collins of Charleston, SC; Becca Collins of Hingham, MA; Kayla Collins of Hingham, MA; and Aurelia Collins of Madison, CT. He is preceded in death by his brother, John Collins. His service will be on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Calvary Chapel Merritt Island from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made in his honor to Calvary Chapel Benevolent Fund, 3500 N. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. Rick will be greatly missed by everyone.
