Mamie Beatrice (Joyner) Gossett died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Palm Bay, FL. She was born October 2, 1923 in Scooba, MS. She is survived by her husband, Fred R. Gossett; daughters, Vera “Buddy” Render of Sebastian, FL, and Rosemary Schelinski of Palm Bay, FL; son, John E. Gossett of Webster, KY; sister, Vera Anderson of Scooba, MS; nine grandchildren; eleven great grand children; and scores of nieces and nephews. Mamie is preceded in death by her son, Fred R. Gossett Jr. (Freddy); parents, John I. Joiner and Rosa Belle Knight Joyner; sister, Mary Edna Joyner; and two brothers, E. Leonard Joiner and Emette I. Joiner.
