Obituary of Lisa Anne Nelson

March 10, 1964 – September 27, 2018 Lisa Anne Nelson, age 54, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at William Child’s Hospice House. She was born on March 10, 1964 to James and Joan Porter in Buffalo, New York. Lisa was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a Christian of great faith and always trusted in God. Lisa worked most of her life in child welfare and always put others needs if front of hers. Lisa is survived by her husband of 28 years, Larry Nelson, her daughters Rachel (Russell) Myers, Jennifer Irwin, and Stacy Nelson, her grandchildren Brittany Mills, Rodney Foulks, and Reese Irwin, her great granddaughter SiMiyah Mills, and Rylie Mills, sister Lynda Knight, nieces Melissa Hoffman and Makayla Nealer. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Joan Porter and her sister Diane Welch. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00am at Mosaic of Palm Bay, United Methodist Church, 2100 Port Malabar Boulevard, NE Palm Bay.
