Obituary of Thomas A. Klarner

Thomas A. Klarner, age 58, of Titusville, FL passed away peacefully with his wife, Cora, by his side on March 7, 2020 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL following a tragic motorcycle accident. The son of Edward and Elizabeth Klarner, he was born on February 13, 1962 in Kimberly, WI. Tommy has three siblings-Larry and Melanie Klarner of OH, Donald Klarner of NV and his sister Barbara and Tom Dorn of WI. In addition, he has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Cora and Tommy have three children, Chris Rousseau of KY, Michelle Gillman of FL and Rachelle Gillman of FL; three grandchildren, Felicia Scaggs of FL, Alexis Fields of FL and Kendra Keeling of FL; one great granddaughter, Adelynn Skidmore Fields; and two God sons, Robert Simmons of FL and Eric Beach of WI. Tommy’s passion for life was his life he had with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved going swimming at their timeshare, camping, motorcycle riding with his wife and vacationing to many other states with family or friends. Tommy loved his Cumberland Farms Family.  He had so many from his job.  Some of them would say with him, “There was never a dull moment” and that “He knew how to light up a room.”  He was one of those people who looked forward to going to work every day.  He was so excited about driving the New Peterbilt Truck to haul gas for Cumberland Farms that he had a hard time sleeping that night.  Little things like that made him happy. Tommy was such a safe driver that he received Safety Awards Certificates year after year.  Just recently I was told that he was getting a certificate for having driven 2 million miles of safety driving over the 25 years he has been with the company since January 16, 1995. The Cumberland Farms Family of Friends will be helping me with his Celebration of Life and a small service first at The Sherwood Country Club located at 4335 London Town Road, Titusville, FL 32796 on Saturday, March 28th at 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  If you attend, please bring in a potluck to share and pictures of Tommy if you have any and please DO NOT send any flowers because his wife Cora is allergic to them.
