Obituary of Terry Alan Preston

Terry Alan Preston, 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Melbourne, FL, with his daughter by his bedside. Terry was a beloved brother, father and grandfather. His family includes his brother Leslie Preston, daughter Lisa (Erik) Taubman, and grandchildren Neil Preston, Melody Taubman and Samuel Taubman, his birds Ruby and Rosie. Terry had many interests in his lifetime. He loved breeding and racing horses with his brother, having a mini farm, playing golf and poker, breeding and showing Great Pyrenees, bowling, and purchasing As Seen on TV merchandise. If they sold it, Terry had it! His sense of humor will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to experience it. He held many different positions: Owner of a butcher shop in the Eastern Market in Detroit, Michigan, Senior VP at Kayak Pools (Michigan and Western New York), and Publisher of The Florida Pet Pages. While he may have lived in many places, he fell in love with the Sunshine state when he moved to Jupiter, FL. Terry decided to retire in Melbourne, FL to be closer to his daughter and his grandchildren. Terry's final resting place will be with his family at Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale, MI.
