Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Mayle

Mary Mayle 1/5/1922 – 8/21/2018 Mary E. Mayle, age 96, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Mary was born in Moundsville, West Virginia and raised in Burghols, Ohio. Having been orphaned by the age of 12 during the Great Depression, she was driven and went on to being the Class President and Valedictorian of her graduating class. She was proud to be the wife of Arthur Mayle for 68 years, with 30 years of those being a Navy military spouse. She was the loving mother of two; gifted talented son, George, who preceded her in death and surviving daughter, Elizabeth (William). She gave all she could of herself to all she touched. She will be remembered as a strong loving spirit, who overcame much adversity to give selflessly. May she rejoice in Heaven’s Embrace as she reunites with her loved ones.
