Obituary of Woodrow Leroy Burrows

Woodrow Leroy Burrows, 81, died peacefully on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL. Born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, he moved to Melbourne, FL in 1956. He lived in Brevard County for 60 years, never leaving the Eau Gallie and Melbourne area. Leroy was a Melbourne Fire Fighter for 30+ years. He retired in 1988, then continued to work for his brother+óGé¼Gäós Stucco company and was full-time custodian at the First Pentecostal Church in Palm Bay where he was a member. Always in our hearts; beloved Husband, Dad, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather (Poppi), Brother, and friend. A devoted Christian, Leroy loved God, his Family and his Church Family. He will be greatly missed. Leroy is survived by his wife of 57 years Irene Burrows; daughters Tina Burrows, Terry (Paul) Replogle, Rachel (Jason) Adam; son Michael Burrows; grandchildren Malaina (Brandon) Kane, Madison Adam, Jayden-Lee Adam, Christi Burrows. Great-grandchildren Railyn Kane, Jeffrey Proctor. Sister Clarelene Combs. Brothers Leonard Burrows, Donald Burrows, Ronald Burrows, Alvin Burrows, Roger Burrows; and many Nieces and Nephews. Leroy was predeceased by his daughter Maria Diane Burrows, father William Burrows, mother Eddrie L. Burrows, brothers William, Lawrence, Walter, and Cline; and sisters Linda Gibson and Marcelene Parsons.Viewing and calling hours will be held Saturday April 16th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care. Funeral service will be held Sunday April 17th at 4:00 pm at the First Pentecostal Church, 1021 Emerson Drive NE, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
