Lindy and I were friends when our fathers were stationed at West Point. We attended 7th, 8th and 9th grade together, and stayed in touch through our teenage years. Every so often, I search for her online. Today I recognized a familiar smile. My heart aches with why.

To the family,
In our lives the Lord brings many seasons. Some happy, some sad, some not understood. Through it all he is with us just as he is with Lindy now. I have known Lindy for over 20 years through our business connection. She was a lovely lady who lived life passionately. She loved all of you deeply. Her radiant smile, can do attitude, and joyous laughter will be missed dearly. But please know that she is walking with the Lord in peace, beauty, and tranquility. I had the privilege of talking with Lindy many times about our Lord and oh what a blessing it was to me to know that Lindy knew and loved our savior. So my prayer for Lindy and all of you is like the hymn “Just a closer walk with thee”. May God be with you all and may he bless you and keep you in his mercy and grace.

So sorry for your loss Paul and family. Have known Lindu from NGC to Symetrics with many softball games sprinkled in between. She was truly a special soul. Spent many hours talking to her at work. She will be greatly missed by me and my family. May you find hraling in the loving arms of god during this most difficult time. Just still in absolute shock.
