Obituary of Profesora Juana Segarra de Jaramillo

Juana Segarra de Jaramillo passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Juana was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late Joaquin and Carmen Segarra. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edgar; children, Jeanette, Yila, Yvonne, Melissa and Edgar Joaquin; their spouses; and grandchildren, Giorgio Romano, Giovanna, David Alejandro, Sara, Annabella, Edgar Enrique, and Natalie. She will be greatly missed by her brothers, Joaquin Manuel (Quin), Jose Antonio (Chanto), and Jose Angel (Hany) Segarra. Her family is inviting family and friends to join them for a mass in her honor, on Tuesday, October 30th, at 4:30 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Rd in Raleigh, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association.
